GREENHAND & CHAPTER DEGREE BANQUET
NOVEMBER CHAPTER MEETING
November 20, 2019
Our chapter does a special thing every year for our new freshmen and first year members! It is called the Greenhand and Chapter Degree Banquet! The morning of our greenhand and chapter degree banquet we also have a tradition of having our members come in the morning of the banquet to dye their hands the color of the degree they are receiving! On top of that they get to enjoy donuts with the officer team and teachers and their peers! Later in the night, we are able to reward all of our new members that are starting to get involved in our chapter. Whether it is giving them the opportunity to receive their chapter or greenhand degree, scholarship pin awards, leadership pin awards, or even getting recognized for participating in the opening and closing public speaking contest. This gives our students opportunities to get more involved in our program and earn awards for doing so!
