F-SQUARED

Freshman Friday, better known as F-Squared, is an event held by our chapter officers to inform our freshmen members about upcoming events and help to encourage their involvement.
Our freshmen members get to spend time with our officer team while enjoying treats at lunch!

November 15, 2019

Our Chapter Officer's November F-Squared was centered around Greenhand applications and our Chapter and Greenhand Banquet the upcoming week! They informed freshmen about the many degrees that FFA members can achieve and motivated them to continue their journey of receiving the many degrees now, starting with their Greenhand! Since applications went out that week and were the week after, officers helped members fill them out and turn them in while drinking hot chocolate!

October 17, 2019

Our October F-Squared recruited many freshmen in our chapter! Since the last one, our officers saw many new faces who didn't attend the last one! This F-Squared highlighted Greenhand officer team since applications were out! Our chapter officers presented about what specifically our Greenhand team does and what they do in our chapter, as well as encouraged freshmen to fill out their Greenhand officer application while enjoying more ice cream! They received over 15 applications and are so excited for the selected 7 to have just as much fun as they do!

September 27, 2019

Our first F-Squared was a success! Our chapter officers were able to introduce themselves and get to know the freshmen in our chapter, while enjoying ice cream! This specific F-Squared talked about the many upcoming public speaking opportunities, such as Opening and Closing, and the Creed. Their involvement in these opportunities was encouraged, and because of this many students signed up and competed for these competition!
