Our 2022-2023 chapter theme is Discover You!
The work of our hands and the toils of our labor make up the foundation of humanity, from the first steps mankind took to the great feats of modern day man. It is this resolve which pushes us to new heights as a country and more particularly as an organization. From the implementation of hands on curriculum and learning to the effort students channel towards their success in Career Development Events and Supervised Agricultural Experience Projects, the value of hard work and effort is a concept which is central within the FFA. We strive to foster an appreciation for the resolution and conviction which are exhibited by the successful individuals in our lives, those individuals who serve as role models for us both individually and in a broad spectrum fashion. It is in this way that it becomes quite clear that hard work is the fabric of the FFA and it’s membership.
Pushing for excellence individually is an enormous step in the road to success, but that same road is also paved by commitment to effort beyond self interest. Going above and beyond for the sake of an individual other than oneself is a key component to the ideology which the FFA embodies. By putting the words of the FFA Motto, “Living to Serve” into action through service projects and community interaction, this organization seeks to instill in students the ideal of working for the sake of someone other than yourself. Change is ignited in this fashion and through our efforts we ourselves are changed for the better.
This year, we will strive to embody the qualities of the hard working individual by putting in our best effort for the interest of others and for ourselves. Our commitment to our futures and the future of our community keeps us focused on our goals and will allow us to take control of our lives and be OUR future. We encourage each of you to set goals and be a profound leader in our community. We want all of you to know that you have the power to achieve your dreams and surpass your expectations. Discover You by getting involved, staying positive, and take steps toward each of your goals!
