POULTRY PRODUCTION

This year was the first year that Merced FFA created its very own chicken coop! Starting from scratch, with the help some of our members, teachers, and workers, the chicken coops were put in. Thanks to Ms.Brewer and students who used this project as their SAE, they hatched and raised many chicks which are now being held there. ​Throughout the year our chicken population increased, with it now with over 40 chickens!

Our chickens also produced organic eggs, which we sold to our many customers on and off campus!
