FFA STATE OFFICER VISIT
Miriam Alvarado & Lindsey Swall
Once every three years, the Merced FFA chapter is given the opportunity to be visited by the California State Officers. This year we were visited by State Secretary, Lindsey Swall, and State Reporter, Miriam Alvarado. During their days visiting, they enjoyed bonding time with both our Chapter and Greenhand officer team, decorating cookies and socializing. The next day, they taught workshops to students in our ag classes which taught them about the decisions they make in life, and how it affects their future. They also joined the Merced High student run podcast, We the Students, where they talked about life as a state officer as well as their backgrounds in the organization! Overall, our chapter is very grateful for the visit and are so excited about the new motivation and involvement within our chapter!
